Paul, in 2 Thessalonians 2, gives us some very important information concerning the return of Jesus Christ and the resurrection of believers. Like Jesus did before him, Paul first warns us of great deception relating to the return of Christ. Then he tells us how to keep from being deceived.
Paul also tells us about the restrainer - the one who holds back the secret power of lawlessness. Many people have tried to guess the identity of the restrainer. However, when ever the Lord wants us to know something He will put the answer in the Scripture. So let’s see what the Scripture has to say.
